THE WARRIORS

THE Warriors…

Is a combination of fun filled water & beach games which focuses on increasing fitness levels, team building, learning new skills and gaining knowledge for water and beach safety whilst taking into consideration of our actions on the environment. We also focus on the well-being of each child to prepare them mentally stronger and help them with their self confidence.

Our activities include Kayaking, SUP, swimming, running on the beach, an insight into life guarding, beach clean-up, nutrition information sessions, information about the environment and mental strengthening activities which all culminates in the end of season Warrior Games, an award ceremony with different achievement categories for the participants.

Saturday & Sunday mornings 8.00am – 9.15am.

West Beach, Palm Jumeirah by Jones the Grocer

THE PROGRAM

WARRIOR VALUES

Safety

The Warriors will learn all the aspects of beach safety, swimming, biking, running, competing and the importance of following guidelines and rules put in place. We also promote vigilance for their fellow Warrior and athlete safety at all times.

Competition

Through the Warriors training sessions, we will learn about healthy competition in a safe and enjoyable environment. Winning, losing & trying are all important components to learn for healthy competition. We have regular race opportunities within our training, and also through our partners Race ME in many of their events.

Motivation

Group Training with the Warriors helps motivate and encourage your child and improve their overall abilities centered around morals, self-esteem and promoting self-confidence.

Support

We want all the Warriors to understand the importance and significance of supporting each other. We are here to champion everyone – from the 1st Finisher to the last person over the line. We encourage our Warriors and support them through every step of their journey.

Respect

Training with your peers, helping each other, respecting each other and championing everyone to the end. We hold respect as one of our most important values – we install respect for themselves and respect for others.

Responsibility

The Warriors coaches encourage everyone to learn responsibility regardless of age, this starts with the coaches and finishes with the Warrior. The key for this success is: responsibility for each other, responsibility for their training, responsibility for their equipment, responsibility for their fellow Warriors and responsibility for themselves.
